04 September 2014 - Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo delivered a lecture on “Philippine Foreign Policy and Philippines-Bangladesh Relations” before the members of National Defence Course-2014 of the National Defence College (NDC) of Bangladesh on August 26 upon the invitation of its commandant, Lieutenant General Mollah Fazle Akbar.

Participants of the current course include 48 Bangladeshi military and civil officials and 28 foreign military officers from 11 different countries.  They are of the rank of brigadier general or equivalent in the armed forces and joint secretary or equivalent in the civil service. The course curriculum is designed to develop the potentials of future policy planners, leaders and strategic thinkers especially in the area of defense and national security.

One hour of lively questions and answers followed the 45-minute lecture. END
