04 September 2014 – Philippine Consul General Generoso D.G. Calonge called on Ms. Denise Duclon, Regional Director of the US Department of State’s Office of Foreign Missions (OFM) on August 26 at the latter’s downtown Chicago office.

Ms. Duclon has been with OFM-Chicago Office for 20 years, overseeing the State Department’s relations with the various Consulates in the Chicago area.  She noted that Chicago, in recent years, has been the fastest-growing area in the US in terms of the number of Consulates being established.

Consul General Calonge arrived in Chicago on 08 July 2014 from Tel Aviv, Israel where he served as the Philippine Ambassador for three years.  END
