05 September 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh recently visited Al Khobar for its 25th Embassy on Wheels (EOW) consular outreach mission this year.
The mission provided a total of 1,310 consular services to the Filipinos in the Eastern Province from August 22 to 23 at the Al Jazeera International School Dammam.
The five-member Embassy team, which was led by Vice Consul Redentor D. Genotiva, processed 495 passport renewals, 3 lost passports, 32 passport extensions, 154 notarials, 1 travel document and 19 reports of birth. The team also released 606 new e-Passports. The team was augmented by volunteers from the Filipino community in the Eastern province.
Three (3) members of the Embassy also handled overseas voters registration simultaneously during the consular outreach. They registered 346 new voters.
As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the outreach mission also distributed client feedback forms to 400 clients, of which 184 responded as follows:
