10 September 2014 - Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs K Shanmugam hosted the ASEAN Day Reception on August 25 at the Mandarin Hotel Ochard, Singapore. Representatives of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, headed by Ambassador Antonio A. Morales, joined their counterparts from other ASEAN member countries and other guests at the event. In his remarks, K Shanmugam said that “for ASEAN to play a pivotal role in promoting cooperation, peace and stability in the region, it is crucial that we continue to promote ASEAN central role in the regional architecture... and for ASEAN to stay united and credible”.  END
