10 September 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Abuja led by Ambassador Alex V. Lamadrid joined the Nunciature of the Holy See and the Filipino community in celebrating the 40th anniversary of religious profession of Sr. Estelita de Leon, MCST, on June 29.
Papal Nuncio to Nigeria Archbishop Augustine Kasujja was the chief celebrant of the concelebrated Holy Mass, during which Sr. Estelita renewed her religious vows.
Sr. Estelita belongs to the congregation of the Missionary Catechists of St. Therese (MCST), which was founded in Tayabas, Quezon, Philippines. Sr. Estelita is the Superior of the four MCST Sisters currently serving in the Papal Nunciature in Abuja. END
