17 September 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria held a mobile consular mission in Cape Town, South Africa from September 6 and 7 upon the request of the Filipino community there.

Philippine Ambassador to South Africa Joseph Gerard B. Angeles led the consular team together with Madame Cecille Angeles and Consular Assistant and Attaché Mr. Victor M. Atangan to provide passport renewal services and overseas voters registration.

Ambassador Angeles was welcomed and introduced by Philippine Honorary Consul Steven David Chaimowitz in Cape Town to members of the Filipino community.   He and Honorary Consul Chaimowitz also discussed possible projects and events that can help promote business endeavours to the Philippines and South Africa.  END
