18 September 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok conducted a consular outreach program in Phuket from September 12 to 13. During the outreach, the consular team rendered passport and other consular services, including overseas voters registration, authentication of documents and issuance of Filipino citizen identification cards. The Association of Filipinos in Thailand-Phuket Chapter led by its President Bernadette Sanchez assisted the Embassy in conducting the outreach.
The Embassy also conducted its 17th Financial Learning Seminar (FLS) to inform Filipinos about safe and legal investment options for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). A presentation on ASEAN Economic Community 2015 focusing on the labor mobility, and a community dialogue on the Embassy’s cultural and community projects, consular and immigration concerns were also shown during the outreach.
