24 September 2014 – Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Nestor Z. Ochoa and his spouse, Madame Mayie Ochoa, together with members of the diplomatic corps, welcomed His Majesty’s arrival at the Royal Berkshire Hall at the Jerudong Polo and Country Club on August 27.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, were greeted by the Ambassadors and High Commissioners and their spouses.

Representing the diplomatic corps, His Excellency Victor Seleznev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Brunei Darussalam, delivered a welcoming speech. The diplomatic corps then presented a painting to His Majesty, showing a vision of Kampong Ayer painted by a talented local painter. END
