26 September 2014 – During the Inaugural Ball and Induction of Officers of the “Circulo Kapampangan of Hawaii” held on September 12, Philippine Consul General in Honolulu Gina A. Jamoralin cited Pampanga in her inspirational message as the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines” and thanked the members of the organization for showcasing  this culinary tradition and Philippine cultural diversity in Hawaii. 

Through mutual help, friendship and civic activities and taking active interest in athletic and humanitarian activities, the “Circulo Kapampangan” was able to preserve the Kapampangan culture among its members. Other regional groups   invited  during the evening’s event were the Bulacan   and Cavite associations, which also shared linguistic kinship with Pampanga province, fostering a more inclusive “Kapampangan” community in Hawaii.
