29 September 2014 – This year, Design Philippines once again participated in the premier French furniture and design fair Maison et Objet from September 05 to 09 at Hall 7 – Scènes d’intérieur – of the Parc des Expositions Exhibition Center.
One of the biggest design expositions in the world, Maison et Objet is a highly-anticipated event that brings together the most creative concepts each country has to offer.
The Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Paris invited members of the French and international media to an intimate lunch and a meet-and-greet session with the exhibitors, such as Kenneth Cobonpue, Rita Nazareno, and Jerry Jiao Jr. of Schema, together with Philippine Ambassador to France Ma. Theresa Lazaro, Commercial Attaché Vichael Roaring, Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions’ Executive Director Rosevi Gaetos and Creative Director Budji Layug.
Held at the exhibition’s center restaurant Le Vieux Marché, journalists from print and online publications were given the opportunity to meet the designers and view the Design Philippines exhibition space. END
