30 September 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, led by Ambassador Ezzedin Tago, visited Yemen with a team composed of Consul Mary Jennifer Dingal and Attache Noly Dulay and Mr. Melchor Balladolid starting on September 23.
During the visit, the Philippine Embassy team extended consular services including passport encoding, notary services for various legal documents, and received reports of marriage and births. After two days in Sana’a, the team received 67 applications.
Ambassador Ezzedin Tago also met with The Filipino Community in Yemen (TFCY) and conducted the oath of the new set of officers of TFCY - the only community organisation in Sana’a, Yemen.
There are currently 691 Filipinos who are registered with the Embassy online database. The Embassy calls on all Filipinos in Yemen to access the Embassy website (www.riyadhpe.dfa.gov.ph) and register and provide complete all the requested information on the online forms. END
