30 September 2014 – To further boost the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu’s public diplomacy outreach, Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin made her first-ever live radio interview at KPHI Radio Station for the radio program, “The ConGen’s Corner,” hosted by Mr. Allan Alvarez, on September 19.

KPHI 1130 AM and 96.7 FM is heard across the state on Time Warner Cable Channel 882 and is streaming online at the I Heart Radio application for smart phones. “The ConGen’s Corner,” a bi-monthly radio program, adopts a format that starts with a live on-air discussion of current events and issues relevant to the Philippines and Filipinos, followed by announcements and advisories from the Consulate General on upcoming projects and activities.

During the introductory interview, Consul General Jamoralin responded to questions about herself, her educational and professional background, and her plans and projects for the Consulate General and the Filipino community during her tour of duty. She also fielded phone in questions from several listeners of the program.
