04 October 2014 – A team from the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles conducted a consular outreach program in Dallas, Texas from September 27 to 28.
The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACC Texas) under the leadership of Ms. Ethel Mercado, State President, and Ms. Elna Mallari, Regional Chair.
The consular team processed 460 e-Passport applications, including applications for replacement of lost passport, during the three-day outreach program.
A total of 971 consular and voter registration services were rendered during the two-day consular outreach program, breakdown of which are as follows:
The consular outreach team is composed of Vice Consul Mary Joy Ramirez, Misses Georgina Omaga and Melchora Tagle and Messrs. Ravinal Espiritu, Miguel Belen, Edmund Gidaya and Benjamin Ascue.
The consular outreach program is a regular activity of the Consulate General to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction. END
