04 October 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Lisbon participated in the Portugal Vogue Fashion Night Out which was held on September 11 at the commercial areas of Lisbon along Avenida da Liberdade, Principe Real, Baixa Chiado, and Rua Castilho. 

The Embassy collaborated with GustoKo, which is owned by Ms. Paula M. Figueras – a young Filipina entrepreneur promoting native Filipino products in Portugal and other parts of Europe—and a Filipino brand of luxury bags and accessories, presented its collection at the event.

GustoKo, a Filipino phrase that translates into “I Like,” offers an assortment of unique, native, and timeless Filipino products that individually handcrafted and locally manufactured in the Philippines.  The company takes pride in the world-class craftsmanship and exceptional creativity of Filipinos.  It offers a wide array of fashion accessories, particularly bags and necklaces, which are produced in minimal quantities to guarantee the exclusivity of each item.
