10 October 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General in Sydney, in cooperation with ABS-CBN Global, disseminated information on various consular services, such as passports, civil registry, notarizations, NBI clearance and dual citizenship, and overseas voters registration at the Consulate General’s information booth during the TFC “One Kapamilya Go” event on September 28 held at the Rosehill Gardens in Rosehill, New South Wales (NSW). The Consulate General team answered queries from the members of the Filipino community and the Australian public on these services, as well as on the Philippines as a holiday destination.
The event featured several Filipino entertainers from ABS-CBN, performances by local Filipino talents and a singing competition featuring Filipino youth contestants. There were also booths offering traditional Filipino fare such as lechon, pork barbecue, laing, and desserts like puto at kutsinta and halo-halo. Other booths at the event included those of Philippine Airlines (PAL), remittance companies and property developers, and several Philippine products.
The Consulate General team was led by Philippine Consul General Anne Jalando-on Louis, and composed of Consul Marford Angeles, Mr. Jose Jacinto Morales, Ms. Ma. Regina Queenie Perol, Ms. Linda Albay, Ms. Rachel Calisin, Mr. Jessie Llaneta, Mr. Elpidio Raiz and Mr. Fidel Simeon. END
