10 October 2014 - Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin welcomed visiting Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)  Major General Virgilio Hernandez, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, and other AFP officials to the Philippine Consulate General on the first day of his official visit to Hawaii on September 29.

Major General Hernandez was in Hawaii to meet with his American counterparts at the US Pacific Command in Hawaii to discuss mutual security and defense issues.

Consul General Jamoralin and Major General Hernandez exchanged views on the recent developments in the Philippines.

General Hernandez was accompanied by Col. Marvin Licudine of the Philippine Army; Philippine Navy Captain Rey dela Cruz, AFP Liaison Officer to the US Pacific Command; and Mr. Andre Dominic Dagum. END
