13 October 2014 - In line with its continuing efforts to deliver consular services to Filipino communities in the Nordic region, the Philippine Embassy in Oslo, in coordination with the office of the Philippine Honorary Consul General in Copenhagen, conducted a consular outreach mission in Copenhagen, Denmark from October 04 to 05. This was the second consular outreach conducted in Copenhagen for 2014.

The consular team processed a total of 316 e-Passport applications and also accepted the filing of reports of birth and reports of marriage.

During the outreach, Philippine Embassy personnel also registered overseas voters for the 2016 national elections. One hundred and twenty (120) individuals were able to register as overseas voters.

All citizens of the Philippines are encouraged to register to be able to vote during the 2016 presidential elections. Interested applicants should bring their Philippine passport to register. Overseas voters registration is being conducted in all Foreign Service Posts, including the Philippine Embassy in Oslo, until 31 October 2015. END
