23 October 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Doha, State of Qatar, in coordination with FFL Migrant Workers, a Filipino community organization registered with the Embassy, conducted a PAOS in CCC Camp in Mesaieed on October 10.

Around fifty (50) OFWs, mostly construction workers, attended the seminar.

Mr. Sagusara Launto, Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) officer, and Welfare officer Amy Empaynado led the Embassy’s PAOS team, which discussed, among others, the Embassy’s ATN and consular services, Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) services, Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG procedures and benefits. 

The Embassy is conducting a PAOS regularly to inform the Filipino community of the Embassy’s services, their rights as foreign workers, and some relevant procedures in Qatar.  END
