23 October 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Doha, State of Qatar conducted a mobile overseas voters registration and orientation on consular services during Oktoberfest 2014, a day-long band performances, on October 10 at Sealine Beach Resort, Mesaieed.

Twenty one (21) Filipinos applied for overseas voters registration.

Many Filipino nationals attended the event, and when urged to register, informed the Embassy team that they will vote in the Philippines.  

Vice Consul Kristine Bautista answered the registrants’ queries on consular matters while they were waiting for their turns.

The Embassy regularly conducts mobile registrations during events of Filipino community organizations and in companies with many Filipino employees to reach out to many eligible overseas voters. END
