27 October 2014 - Officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General and its attached agencies in Shanghai conducted a team-building activity at the Dai-ichi Electronics facilities, Jiading District, Shanghai from October 18 to 19.

Going beyond the traditional games to improve unity and harmony in the workplace, the country-team learned from Dr. Sanjeev Choubej, a general practitioner at St. Michael Hospital in Shanghai, basic information and practical skills on first aid and basic life support.

Aptly entitled “Your Hands Can Save Lives,” the lecture and demonstration provided the country-team information on detecting the symptoms of and responding to medical emergencies such as a  heart attack, stroke and choking.

Philippine Consul General Wilfredo R. Cuyugan, who led the two-day activity, expressed his gratitude to the country-team for working together to fulfill their mandate in Shanghai and enjoined them to remain strong amid the challenges at the Consulate General. END
