28 October 2014 - More than 170 Filipinos benefitted from free legal advice dispensed by nine lawyers from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Pampanga and Bataan chapters during a free legal aid session organized by the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong from October 04 to 05.

The IBP lawyers also conducted a legal seminar on October 05 regarding violence against women and other common issues that confront overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong such as the legal separation and annulment processes in the Philippines.

This is the first time that the IBP Pampanga and Bataan chapters have conducted legal missions outside the Philippines. IBP Pampanga chapter president Atty. Paul Maglalang, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General, committed to holding regular visits to serve OFWs in Hong Kong. END
