29 October 2014 - The Association of Filipino Teachers in America (AFTA) led by President Dr. Raul Cajigas (leftmost) bestowed Dangal ng Lahi Awards to Seton Hall University President, Dr. Gabriel Esteban (center, photo on left), and Dr. Conrado Gempesaw (center, photo on right), President of St. John’s University during their Silver Jubilee Anniversary last October 12 in New York. Philippine Consul General Mario De Leon (rightmost) graced the occasion and praised AFTA for their programs focusing on enriching professionalism of their peers, their outreach activities to the Philippines, and Paaralan sa Konsulado, an annual summer cultural program for Filipino-American children in partnership with the Consulate General.  END
