30 October 2014 – Three youth officers from the Department of Tourism (DOT) participated in the ASEAN+3 Tourism Students Summit, which was held in Bangkok and Chonburi Province on October 19 to 26. They were Administrative Assistant Ms. Rochelle Anne Catamora, Tourism Officer Mr. Ryan Ramos Carlos, and Tourism Operations Officer Ms. Maria Teresita.

During the summit, the three gave a presentation on the Philippine tourism industry in general, its achievements and the Philippine National Tourism Development Plan.

The Philippine Embassy’s Second Secretary Ms. Princes Tomas-Tayao met with them and listened to their presentation on October 20. END
