31 October 2014 – South Korean Consul-General Jeong-sik Kang, who recently assumed his post in Toronto, called on Philippine Consul General Junever M. Mahilum-West on October 30.

The two Consuls General discussed the excellent bilateral relations between the Philippines and South Korea, their respective countries’ dynamic bilateral relations with Canada, the vibrancy of the ever-growing Filipino and Korean communities in Toronto and possible joint activities in the future.

Prior to his posting in Toronto, Consul General Jeong-sik Kang’s previous assignments were to Indonesia, the South Korean Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, Vancouver and India.

Consul General Jeong-sik Kang arrived in Toronto on October 15. END
