3 November 2014 - Prof. Miriam Coronel Ferrer, Chairperson of Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP), received the N-Peace 2014 Award in the category “Campaigning for Action: Women and Men Mobilizing for Peace” in a ceremony held on October 24 in Bangkok. The category recognizes mobilization and advocacy efforts which resulted in the advancement of women, peace and security issues.

N-Peace (Engage for Peace, Equality, Access, Community and Empowerment) is a multi-country initiative managed by UNDP with support from AusAID to further the women, peace and security agenda and promote broader conflict prevention and peace building work in the Asia.  END
