05 November 2014 - Talentadong Pinoy Puppeteer Wanlu Lunaria and his puppets are participating in Harmony World Puppet Carnival 2014 organized by the Thai Ministry of Culture from November 01 to 10 in Bangkok. 

The Filipino puppeteer joins 165 troupes from 60 countries in the carnival. The event serves as a platform for puppeteers, puppet lovers, puppet families, as well as those from other related fields of production such as film and animation, to network and illustrate competency and diversity of art and culture.            

Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia attended the opening ceremony on November 01 at Sanam Luang (The Royal Ground) and met with Mr. Lunaria and members of his group.

Wanlu and his puppets are scheduled to perform today, November 05, at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (Soonmanut) Anthropology Center located at 20 Baromaratchachonnani Rd, Taling Chan, Bangkok 10170. END
