07 November 2014 – Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia on October 10 paid a courtesy call on senior government officials of Udon Thani province, including Governor Noppawat Singsakda and Deputy Chief of Provincial Police, Police Col. Somkiat Ketjongrak.

Ambassador Batoon-Garcia expressed gratitude to the officials for the meeting and hospitality extended to the Embassy delegation and members of the Filipino community who have made the province their second home. She also congratulated the Governor on the ASEAN exhibit and the province's relentless efforts to promote awareness of the ASEAN Community among the local people.  END
