The Mega Show is the largest sourcing trade exhibition showcasing the most comprehensive range of global products manufactured for export markets every October in the Asia-Pacific region. This is a regular event of the autumn Southern China sourcing circuit for global buyers. This year, it was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Mega Show Part 1 featured eight merchandising categories, namely: gifts and premiums; kitchen and dining; festive, Christmas and seasonal; toys and games; giftwrap and packaging; glassware trends; housewares and home décor; and baby and nursery world.

Mega Show Part 2 featured 4 categories, namely: giftware; stationery; home décor and outdoor living; and housewares and home textiles.  The exhibitors were registered in the giftware and home décor categories.

The materials used for the Philippine-made accessories on display ranged from capiz shells, fiberglass, leather, and wood, showing the unparalleled talent for design and craftsmanship of the Filipinos.

The Consulate General in Hong Kong has been encouraging Philippine participation and promotion of this event as an ideal venue to showcase Filipino products and craftsmanship and a platform for networking options, views on market trends, and business opportunities. END
