14 November 2014 – Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales welcomed at the Philippine Embassy on November 11 the participants of the  Camp Teen: Youth Racial Harmony Ambassador Programme, an annual activity organized by OnePeople.sg that brings together multi-racial, multi religious and multi-national youths to bond and forge closer inter-racial friendships, deepen their understanding of the different cultures living in Singapore and enhance their leadership skills and commission them as Youth Racial Harmony Ambassadors.

In his remarks to the students, Ambassador Morales expressed his appreciation for Singapore’s generous welcome to more than 200,000 Philippine nationals working in Singapore.  

During their visit, Consul Mersole Mellejor also gave them a briefing on Philippine history and culture.

Filipino merienda of pansit canton and pandesal were served to introduce the Chinese and Spanish influence in our Philippine dishes. END
