18 November 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw did a combined trade, investment, tourism, and cultural promotion campaign in Wroclaw which is Poland’s 4th largest city in partnership with the Lower Silesian Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Krzystof Bromarski, the Chamber’s Board Member and Ms. Jowita Krupacz, Coordinator for International Cooperation and Projects welcomed Philippine Ambassador to Poland Patricia Paez.
The Philippine envoy gave a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation on the trade and investment opportunities in the country, including those under the Public-Private-Partnership scheme, for Polish entrepreneurs and potential investors. She also highlighted the Philippines’ culture as well as its tourist attractions.

The Philippine Embassy also mounted an exhibit on Philippine history, played the video “It’s More Fun in the Philippines,” and gave away tourism brochures and CDs of classic Philippine songs to fill the information gap about the Philippines in Poland.
Lower Silesia is located in the southwestern part of Poland and the is the 7th biggest voivodeship with an area of nearly 20,000 square meters amd with nearly three million inhabitants. END
