21 November 2014 – As part of the 8th edition of the annual Philippine Art Trek Programme co-organized by the Philippine Embassy in Singapore and Di Legno Gallery, the opening of the art exhibit entitled, “Through the Eyes of Eve” was successfully launched on November 08 at the Di Legno Gallery located at 188-6 Tanjong Katong Road, Singapore.
Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales, Di Legno Gallery Director and Owner Alyssa Ong and Leonore Lim, one of the all-women Filipino artists, each delivered brief remarks to welcome the guests during the exhibit’s opening.
The other contemporary artists – Alee Garibay, Mervy Pueblo, Jermina Reyes and Clairelyn Uy—showcased different generations of artists whose works illustrate the artists’ individuality, sensibilities, and different styles. END
