21 November 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Ankara participated in the celebration of ASEAN Family Day in Turkey on October 18. The ASEAN Ankara Committee (AAC) event, which was co-hosted by the Indonesian and Singaporean Missions in Turkey, was held at the Residence of the Indonesian Ambassador Nahari Agustini. It was attended by the Heads of ASEAN Missions in Turkey and their respective home-base personnel and their families.

The event began with the welcome remarks by the Indonesian Ambassador and Singaporean Chargé d' Affaires as hosts of the event, followed by introductions made by Heads of Missions of their respective Mission's personnel and families.

Highlights of the celebration include the song and dance performances of the participants and the games where adults and children engaged in games that strengthened their camaraderie and friendship. A bazaar, featuring products from each ASEAN Member country, was available as a side feature of the event. END
