03 December 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General Milan conducted its last consular outreach for the year at the Italian seaside resort of Rimini on the Adriatic Coast on November 30.

The event was attended by Filipinos residing in Rimini and nearby towns in the Emilia Romagna region, where the consular team, supervised by Philippine Consul General Marichu Mauro, provided services for passport renewal, civil registrations, notarials, and overseas voters registration. Also present in the outreach mission were the attached agencies, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Pag-IBIG, and Social Security System (SSS), which provided their respective services.

A total of 16 consular outreach missions were conducted by the Philippine Consulate General Milan for the year 2014. The consular outreach mission in Rimini was the last this year. Fittingly, the very first consular outreach mission for the year was also held in Rimini last April 12.

The Consulate regularly conducts outreach missions to provide consular services to Filipinos who live in distant areas outside Milan. The consular outreach missions will resume again in spring next year. END
