The opening ceremony, held on November 16 at Asia Point Bowling Centre, Yangon, was graced by Minister and Consul General Maria Lourdes M. Salcedo. She encouraged the members of the Filipino community to join the Sportsfest as a means of strengthening friendship and camaraderie and promoting physical and mental well-being.

Other games played during the tournament were billiards and table tennis. Elimination rounds were held on November 16 and 23, and the championship on November 30.
