10 December 2014 - Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Nestor Z. Ochoa, together with his wife, Madame Mayie E. Ochoa, attended the graduation ceremony of Computer Training for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) 2014 held at Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology, Airport Mall, Berakas, Brunei Darussalam on December 06.
The training was organized by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), in collaboration with K-Mas Management Sdn Bhd. The program aims to empower OFWs by increasing their employability skills and preparing them to run their own businesses upon their return to the Philippines.
A total of 41 participants completed their Basic Computer Training while 42 completed their Advance Computer Training. The two courses, which was offered in five sessions from November 09 to December 07, was attended by OFWs with various backgrounds such as technicians, drivers and laborers. END
