10 December 2014 – Filipina Zshelyz Jaynelle Lee graduated with a Masters in Business Administration degree from the International Institute of Management Development (IMD Business School) in Lausanne, Switzerland on December 05.

The IMD in the canton of Vaud ranks ninth among the top ten of European business schools in the 2014 Financial Times rankings, and cited by said publication for having the best executive education open programs in the world.

Ms. Lee is the only Filipina among the 90 persons, representing 40 countries worldwide, who graduated from the IMD MBA class of 2014.

An Embassy representative attended the graduation ceremonies in Lausanne and congratulated Ms. Lee, saying her achievement was an inspiration to all Filipino youths and spoke very highly of her Filipino upbringing and background.

Prior to her graduate studies, Ms. Lee obtained her B.S. Business Management and B.A. Communication degrees, respectively, from the Ateneo de Manila University.

Before going to Switzerland to take up her MBA in IMD-Lausanne, 30-year-old Ms. Lee previously worked in the Philippines as Brand Manager in Monde Nissin, Assistant Product Manager in Universal Robina and Account Manager in Adformatix. END
