22 December 2014 – Philippine Ambassador to South Africa Joseph Gerard Angeles reported that a mobile consular mission was held in Luanda, Angola from December 12 to 14 to serve the Filipinos residing and working there.

The Embassy team composed of Messrs Victor M. Atangan and Leopoldo M. Padilla, was assisted by the Office of the Philippine Honorary Consul General in Luanda headed by Philippine Honorary Consul General Etienne Brechet in providing consular services such as e-Passport renewal services, overseas voter registration and registration of reports of Birth.   

As part of the Embassy’s efforts to intensifying its overseas voters registration campaign, voter registration was conducted together with its mobile consular mission. Ambassador Angeles advised the team to further promote overseas voters registration through information dissemination and enlighten members of the Filipino community to register and participate in the upcoming national elections.
