29 December 2014 - Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia and the officials of the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok called on Governor Piti Kaewsalubsee of the Province of Sukhothai in Northwestern Thailand on November 29. Ambassador Batoon-Garcia took the opportunity to introduce the incoming Philippine Honorary Consul Agkarajit Phanomvan Na Ayudhya, even though Sukhothai was not part of his jurisdiction. She praised the uniqueness of the Sukhothai tourism opportunities and discussed the province’s strategic plans for ASEAN integration as well as possible partnerships between Sukhothai Province and the Philippines.  END
