29 December 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully held its 43rd and final “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) consular outreach mission this year at the Al Jazeera International School in Al Khobar, Eastern Province from December 19 to 20.
The EOW Team was able to process 464 e-Passport applications, six lost e-Passport applications, 195 notarial services, 26 birth registrations, 12 passport extensions, and also released 1,123 new e-Passports.
The team was led by Philippine Consul General Marshall Louis Alferez, who expressed appreciation to the Filipino community leaders and volunteers in Al Khobar for their support, assistance and cooperation during the two-day activity.
“This was the last EOW for this year and the Embassy hopes to increase the frequency of consular outreach missions next year so that more Filipino nationals are served”, remarked Consul General Alferez.
As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the Team conducted a client feedback survey to 400 clients, of which 162 responded.

The schedule of EOWs for 2015 is already posted on the Embassy’s official website, riyadhpe.dfa.gov.ph, and passport appointments are open for booking for the next EOW, which will be at the Al Jazeera International School in Al Khobar on January 9 to 10, 2015. END
