5 January 2015 – The Philippine Embassy participated in the tea party for the female Diplomatic Community hosted by Mdm. Naly Sisoulith, Spouse of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, on 05 December 2014 at the Lao International Convention and Training Center.

The event has become an annual get-together for all female diplomats and spouses of diplomats where they get to share the unique cultures from their countries.  Cultural performances were showcased from the embassies of Japan, Vietnam, Russia, China, Indonesia, Philippines, and the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  A mini-fashion show featuring the different national costumes also added excitement to the event as these were modeled by the members of the female diplomatic community.  The event also showcased various handicraft products, souvenirs and cuisines from participating countries.
