07 January 2015 - To cap off 2014 and welcome 2015 with improved camaraderie and effective teamwork among its officers and staff, the Philippine Embassy in Doha conducted a teambuilding activity on December 30, 2014 at the Doha Marriott Hotel.

Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Crescente R. Relacion led the officers and staff of the Embassy and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), including the local hires, in participating in the various challenges during the activity.

Dr. Shaukat Chandna of the Qatar Center for Career Development (QCCD) facilitated the various exercises. QCCD is a leading HR-Consultancy and Management Training organization in the region, with over 80 top corporate clients in Qatar alone, as well as in other countries, such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Turkey, Philippines and the United Kingdom.

Dr. Chandna holds Master’s degrees in International Management and International Affairs, and Doctorates in Human Resource Development and English Literature.

Among the fun and insightful exercises that the Embassy personnel participated in included the paper cup tower and egg drop challenges. END
