12 August 2013 – The Philippine Embassy in Madrid joined other ASEAN embassies around the world in commemorating the anniversary of ASEAN through a flag-raising ceremony which was led by Philippine Ambassador to Spain Carlos C. Salinas.

The ceremony was held on August 07 at the Embassy grounds and was attended by Embassy officers and staff and members of the Filipino community who were availing the consular services at that time.

The ASEAN flag-raising ceremony has been an annual event of the Embassy since 2011. END
