22 January 2015 – Philippine Consul General in Guam Marciano R. de Borja inducted the new set of executive officers and board of directors of the Iloilo International for the year 2015 on January 15. The induction was held at the Consulate General premises.

In his message, Consul General de Borja expressed warm congratulations to the new officers and encouraged them to be close and effective partners of the Consulate in its various programs and activities that will advance the interest of the Philippines and the Filipino community.

In particular, he encouraged them to support the 10th Ambassadors, Consuls-General and Tourism Directors Tours (ACGTDT) by joining the program and becoming part of the Guam delegation in July 2015. He also advised those who are qualified for dual citizenship to apply for it and register as overseas voters to be able to participate in the May 2016 Philippine national elections.

Iloilo International is an association of Ilonggos in Guam established in 2008. END
