22 January 2015 – Television hosts Mr. Varin  Sachdev and Miss Thanchanok Jongyotying interviewed Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia as their special guest in the television show “The Diplomat”, one of the highlighted shows of SpringNews, on January 12, at the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.

During the interview, Ambassador Batoon-Garcia discussed her role as an envoy in Thailand, the status of the diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Thailand, information on Filipinos in Thailand and the preparations for the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.  Ambassador Batoon-Garcia also presented some Philippine textiles from various regions in the Philippines.  The interview is expected to be aired on January 23 at 09:10 p.m. on Channel 19 and with a replay on January 25.  END
