03 February 2015 - A Seoul-based international non-government organization (NGO) known for extending relief, aid and social welfare to developing countries in Asia is seeking to expand into the Philippines, one of its senior executives said during a visit to the Philippine Embassy on January 29.

Samdong International Director of International Relations Jessica Adel met with Philippine Ambassador to South Korea Raul S. Hernandez to ask for help in getting establishing in the Philippines this year. The meeting was also attended by Consul General and First Secretary Iric C. Arribas and Bohyeon Kim, Executive Assistant of Samdong International.

Samdong International is a non-profit NGO that provides humanitarian assistance, livelihood, educational and agricultural support in India, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Mongolia. It is interested in expanding its presence to the Philippines in the areas of education and provision of medical services.  END
