04 February 2015 - The Philippine flag at the Philippine Embassy in Ankara was flown at half-mast on January 30 as the Embassy joined the Filipino nation in mourning the 44 members of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force  (PNP-SAF) who were killed while performing their duty in Maguindanao on January 25.

Embassy Chargé d’ Affaires Robert O. Ferrer, Jr. led a simple ceremony the day before, in which the personnel offered prayers for the PNP-SAF members, and for their bereaved families. END
