04 February 2015 - A delegation of Philippine Information and Communications Technology (ICT) officials, led by Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Mario Montejo, attended the 14th ASEAN Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministers (TELMIN) Meeting, which was held from January 22 to 23 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia and Minister and Consul General Edgar Badajos joined the Philippine delegation in the meeting’s opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, who said, in brief remarks, that “with the help of its dialogue partners, ASEAN can achieve the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) 2015 Master Plan and further improve the lives of our people.” END
