06 February 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Abuja conducted its first teambuilding for 2015 with a series of activities from January 16 to 25 in Abuja, Nigeria.

As part of its teambuilding activities, the Embassy conducted on January 16 a re-echo of the consular retooling seminar conducted by the Department of Foreign Affairs for Middle East and African Foreign Service Posts from January 08 to 09 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Vice Consul Ralf G. Roldan, who represented the Embassy to the said seminar in Dubai, facilitated the re-echo to the Embassy’s officers and staff.

The next day brought the entire Embassy officers and staff to the AES Luxury Apartments in Jabi, Abuja where everybody enjoyed a feast of Filipino and Nigerian fare. Videoke singing followed.

The culmination of the teambuilding was held on January 25 at Wakki’s Restaurant, in central Abuja.

In addition to forging greater camaraderie and unity among Embassy personnel, the teambuilding activities also included a goal-setting activity aimed to set direction to the projects and activities that the Embassy plans to undertake during the year. END
