Riyadh outreach in Al Kafji

15 August 2013 - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh conducted its first consular outreach to Al-Khafji in the Eastern Region on August 9 and 10 and served 303 Filipinos.

The Embassy team was led by Vice Consul Winston S. Almeda and was held at Sahel Hotel.

The team encoded 285 electronic passport (ePassport) applications, processed 15 notarial papers and three (3) extensions of passports.

Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ezzedin H. Tago extended his appreciation to the community leaders and volunteers in the Eastern Region who assisted the Embassy consular team during the consular outreach mission.

The next Embassy on Wheels will be in Al-Khobar, Eastern Region on 29 and 30 August 2013 at the Al Jazeera International School Dammam in Al Rakah, Al‑Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

All applicants for renewal are advised to schedule an appointment for the renewal of their passports through the Embassy’s website www.philembassy‑riyadh.org.  The online appointment system allows the passport applicant to choose the date and time of their preferred appointment, and confirmation through an e-mail is automatically sent to them.

Those who need replacement for lost passports or new passports for infants do not need an appointment and may proceed directly to the counter to accomplish the supporting documents for a passport.   END
