17 February 2015 – Philippine Consul General Marichu Mauro inducted the incoming officers of the Filipino community of Parma and Provinces led by its new president, Mr. Melchor Balba on February 08.
The Filipino community of Parma and Provinces is the umbrella organization of all Filipino groups in the Parma area. The group currently has 29 organizations under its wing.
Also present at the event was Parma Vice Mayor Nicoletta Paci. In her speech, Vice Mayor Paci praised the Filipino community in Parma and the surrounding areas and acknowledged their contributions in further enriching the Italian society in general.
